How do you earn points? Pretty simple:

• 1 minute reading = 1 point (audiobooks count too!)
• 1 book review = 5 points
• 1 activity = 10, 15 or 20 points depending on difficulty/age range
• 1 library event attended = 20 points
• Complete the Library Scavenger Hunt = 120 points

Reach 500 points to earn prizes:

• Free book from the prize cart (yours to keep!)
• Coupon book for local restaurants and attractions (kids & teens only)
• One virtual ticket for a chance to win a prize pack in your age group

Don’t stop there!

Earn more virtual tickets toward Prize Packs for every 500 additional points logged (up to 5,000 points—equivalent to 10 bonus tickets).

Then the entire process is online, similar to a raffle — you choose a Prize Pack and submit a virtual ticket. We'll draw a winner for each Prize Pack at the end of the Summer Reading Challenge. Winners will be contacted during the week of August 8-12.
