Library Cards

  • Apply at library or start the process online
  • Proof of identity and residency required
  • Minimum age – none
  • First card – free to Christian County residents
  • Out of County residents – $20 per household per year
  • Replacement card – $1.00
  • Limit 2 items upon first use of card, 5o items upon subsequent checkouts
  • Check info & renew card annually

Material Checkout Periods

  • Books, DVDs, Audiobooks, etc. – Three weeks, except new adult books – two weeks
  • Equipment – Three weeks
  • Inter-library loans and MOBIUS/Prospector materials – Set by lending library
  • Books to Go Facilities and Homebound Patrons – By schedule
  • Renew items in person or by telephone (library hours only) or online.
  • Overdue Fees – $0.10 per day, per item
  • MOBIUS/Prospector Overdue Fees – $0.25 per day, per item
  • Maximum Overdue Fees – $3.00 per item
  • Maximum MOBIUS/Prospector Overdue Fees – $20 per item

Connect to WiFi

When you are at the Christian County Library in Ozark, you can connect to our WiFi for free. In the list of available WiFi networks on your device, choose the network called “Library-Guest.” If your device prompts you to sign in, follow the onscreen instructions to load the library’s Acceptable Use Policy. Once you’ve accepted the policy, you can browse freely. Please note: If your device doesn’t prompt you to sign in, open your Internet browser and type the URL of any website. Your device should then load our Acceptable Use Policy. Contact a library staff person if you have any difficulty connecting.
