Friends of the Library
Thanks to the efforts of our members and volunteers, we have provided funding for Summer Reading Challenges, book bins in the children's areas at every community branch location, a new service desk in Ozark and programming supplies, to name a few.
Raising funds for the library is rewarding work because we know how important a strong library system is for a community. Being an active Friends of the Library member doesn't require a huge time commitment and your help makes a positive impact for everyone. If you love your library, why not join us?

Our Events
We are probably best known for our book sales. Hosting book sales allows the Friends of the Library to raise money to support library projects and services that benefit our community. Make sure to mark your calendars to not miss any events, because we all know how a little bit of help can go a long way.
We Accept Donations
Hosting book sales requires dedicated Friends of the Library members, volunteers and donations from you! Money raised during annual book sales provides additional funding for materials and services not covered by the library's county budget. We accept monetary and physical donations all year long at every Library Branch location, so please remember us when clearing your shelves and considering charitable contributions.
