Friends of the Library

We are the Christian County Friends of the Library, an active and growing organization dedicated to the improvement and expansion of the library. Our #1 priority is to provide additional funding for materials and services not covered by the library's budget. Each year, we raise and spend thousands of dollars to support library projects and services that benefit our community.

Thanks to the efforts of our members and volunteers, we have provided funding for Summer Reading Challenges, book bins in the children's areas at every Community Branch location, a new service desk in Ozark and programming supplies, to name a few.

Raising funds for the library is rewarding work because we know how important a strong library system is for a community. Being an active Friends of the Library member doesn't require a huge time commitment and your help makes a positive impact for everyone. If you love your library, why not join us?
