How to Check Out Materials
Most Library of Things items can be placed on hold in the library catalog with an active Christian County Library card and picked up at a Community Branch location. Some items may have age limits and require the completion of a lending agreement.

Lending Agreement
Studies have shown that cooking and baking boosts confidence, increases concentration and can overall make people happier. The library can be your secret ingredient with all of the different types of bakeware available including pans, decorative tools and storage containers for checkout.
1-Week Checkout

Playing board games provides an activity that promotes critical thinking and has been proven to aid in learning new skills. With over 60 games to choose from (and new ones added all the time) of all age and skill levels, we are certain you will find the right game for a fun time.
3-Week Checkout
Must be 18 years of age or older and sign a lending agreement.
We all know that a library card is a pass to learn, grow and discover new horizons. It's also a way to gain new experiences with passes to the Discovery Center in Springfield, as well as the X Center and Aquatics Center in Nixa.
•Discovery Center Family Pass grants access for up to six people for one week (7 days)
•X Center Pass grants access for one person for one week (7 days)
•Aquatics Center Pass grants access for one person for one week (7 days) during the regular pool season
Please note passes are available on a first-come, first-served basis and cannot be held. It's recommended to call ahead to check availability. Passes automatically expire after one week.
