Showcasing Our Local Talent
You won’t want to miss Christian County Library’s first Local Authors Expo, a place to celebrate the unique stories found in our backyard happening Saturday, April 20 from 10 a.m. – 1 p.m. at the Nixa community branch.
This free event features over 40 regional authors. Walk around this expo-style setting and discover the depth of local literary voices. Visit them one-on-one to learn about their upcoming projects, purchase completed works and get your books signed.
Throughout the event, make sure to swing by the Speaker Workshops. A new topic is presented every 20 minutes from “How to Keep Historical Fiction from Sounding like a History Lesson” to “The Value of Audiobooks for Listeners and Authors.”
So, if you love literature and want to support local authors (and register for a chance to win special door prizes) this is for you! All ages are encouraged, and no registration is required.
