The Christian County Library is premiering a new website. The library Board of Trustees chose DL Media to design the site because of their stellar reputation and responsiveness to client needs, and because the company has long been based in Christian County, and has a newly expanded office in Nixa.
The new site features a clean, modern look and intuitive navigation. Users can now search the library catalog, access the eBook collection, or check their library accounts right from the front page.
The powerful research databases paid for by the library and available to all library patrons can now be accessed not only as a full list, but in categories such as Employment, Education, Genealogy, and more to help users find the information they need quickly.
There are links to ask a librarian, sign up for a library card, view hours and locations, or follow the library on social media right at the top of the page, and you’ll see all the newest books added to the library scrolling across the lower portion of the page, where you can place them on hold with just a few clicks.
Interested in library classes, programs, and story-times? Get the full picture with the events calendar, where you’ll see all programs for kids, teens, and adults listed by date, or you can click to see just programs for your preferred age group.
The new website also features enhanced pages for kids, teens, and adults, where you can learn more about the events, books, and other resources available to each age group, including tools for parents and educators and book recommendations from your favorite library staff members.
