Welcome to our first-ever March Madness: Library Edition! Throughout the month, your votes determine which format reigns supreme as the 2024 champion of the library’s collection. It’s a physical vs. virtual materials showdown.
How it Works:
Each week, from March 1 to April 12, features a head-to-head matchup between two types of library materials. The West bracket is physical materials and the East bracket spotlights virtual offerings. Voting takes place on our Facebook page from Friday to Thursday, with a 24-hour Instagram story vote happening on Fridays.
Participating in the Library March Madness is a slam dunk:
- Follow us on Facebook and Instagram: This is where all the action happens.
- Vote in each matchup: On Facebook, give us a comment of your preferred format or ‘like’ the image with the assigned emoji. On Instagram, simply vote in the poll. The format with the most votes advances to the next round.
- Spread the word: Encourage your friends and family to participate! The more votes, the more exciting the competition will be.

- Week 4 (Friday, March 22): Virtual Materials Matchup – Digital Audiobook vs. eBook
- Week 5 (Friday, March 29): Physical Championship – Hardcover vs. Playaway
- Week 6 (Friday, April 5): Virtual Championship – Libby vs. eBook
- Week 7 (Friday, April 12): Championship Game – Hardcover vs. Libby
The championship game saw the winners of the physical and virtual brackets face off in a climactic battle for the title. With a shortened voting time, the overall 2024 champion is Hardcover Books!
